10th Patent Drawings
Draft Designs for Onion Skin Paper and 8 Glass Panels
I was tasked with designing a series of 8 drawings which were to be displayed suspended in front of each other to reveal a combined image.
The references included scientific, mathematical, architectural and historical and used sections taken from Rhino technical drawings supplied by the prop team as it was being designed.
These line drawings were to be overlayed with/partly formed via Cuneiform, or Assyrian symbols (once this was decided upon) and were in a constant state of development.
The drawings would be shown drawn by hand and at 10 feet high, revealing a key scene in the drama.
Police Station Sketches
A series of police sketches, shown in stages and finished
Quick charcoal drawings created to appear as if in progress by a police sketch artist as action prop. Using licensed images from a stock library and members of the graphics team.
Garage Door
Designs for graffiti on a New Mexico street
Drawn in Procreate, these designs were to be passed onto a spray painter to be completed externally at scale (finished result by spray painter below).
This was for a scene to recreate the feeling of a street in New Mexico where the drama was based. References used were for the Day of the Dead and Mexican street artists.
Molly's Moving Boxes
Flood’s House Gin bottle
Action-prop, Gin bottle design created in Illustrator.
The bottle was not yet sized at the beginning of the project-specific bottle measurements and character specification.
